Job description

We are looking for a Creative and Strategic Marketing Specialist with a passion for pets to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with strategic thinking to develop marketing campaigns that promote our pet products, build brand loyalty, and drive business growth. You will play a key role in crafting engaging content, identifying market trends, and implementing strategies to reach and connect with pet owners and pet care professionals and collaborating closely with the cross functional team to align marketing efforts to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns for pet products.
  • Design and launch creative marketing campaigns that align with business goals.
  • Ensure campaigns effectively highlight the benefits of pet products, engaging pet owners.
  • Define the brand’s unique value proposition within the pet care industry.
  1. Plan and execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Organize online and offline promotional events such as product launches, pet care seminars, and influence partnerships.
  • Create excitement around events to increase product awareness and customer participation.
  • Develop special campaigns for Seasonal promotions, holidays, or pet-related events (e.g., National Pet Day, Christmas).
  1. Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and A/B testing to assess campaign performance and adjust for better results.
  • Develop strategies to differentiate the brand and attract target customers, including pet owners and pet care professionals.
  1. Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences.
  • Customer Behavior Insights: Study and understand the purchasing habits, preferences, and pain points of pet owners to analyze pet industry trends, customer behavior, and strategies.
  • Gather data through surveys, focus groups, and online research to inform marketing decisions.
  1. Create and manage engaging content for digital platforms.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns and ensure content resonates with pet owners, communicates product value, and enhances brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to produce engaging visuals and content that drive traffic to social media, e-commerce platforms and convert visitors into customers.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts (social media, E-Commerce platforms, SEO, email, ads).

 

  1. Build customer engagement strategies to increase brand loyalty.
  • Develop programs to engage existing customers, such as loyalty programs, customer feedback surveys, and personalized email marketing.
  • Foster a community of pet owners through social media and online engagement.
  1. Leadership and Sales Team Management.
  • Lead and manage regional sales teams, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing strategies and sales objectives for each region.
  • Motivate and coach regional sales teams to drive performance and improve customer relationships in their respective areas.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience of 2-5 years in a Marketing role with a strong understanding of the FMCG sector.

  • Proficiency with marketing tools and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of social media and e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Project management and leadership experience.
